Radio-TV-Fill students finalists

Two Radio-TV-Fill students were finalists in the annual CSU Media Arts Festival “Short Screenplay” category at CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo last fall.

Alan Hanson’s entry, “A Light Has Gone Out,” portrayed “a young man propelled into depression and alcohol abuse after his girlfriend has an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to have an abortion affects him in an unexpected way and alters his relationship with the girl and everyone around him.”

Neither screenplay won major awards; however, Hanson and Angarita agreed it was an honor just to be a finalist.
